Matt pulled out of his drive way driving his car down the road to the store he needed to get food for his dinner tonight and he was going to have to do everything to make it just right and impress Kenzie. Matt was going to make chicken alfredo for the two of them tonight and he hoped that Kenzie would like it and not just walk out on him because they really need to talk about a lot of things over this dinner and not have it turn out like their other talks which either ended up and full out screaming fights or them not talking at all and rolling around on his bed or floor kissing and making out.
Matt pulled into the store parking lot and shutting his Lexus off and getting out walking into the store Matt made his way around the store quickly getting everything he needed in the basket. He couldn’t wait to show off to Kenzie and prove to her that he could actually cook, because he knew that she thought he was just kidding but she would soon find out that he was not lying. Matt made his way around the store once again making sure he didn’t forget anything before walking to the register and paying for all of his items.
Matt had so much to talk to Kenzie about with Allie moving to Lipton and his summer fling coming along with her he didn’t know what to do but he hoped that Kenzie could help him figure all of it out. Matt made it back to his car and quickly back to his house jumping out of his car and carrying all his groceries into the house. Matt quickly unpacked everything getting his cutting board out and cutting all the chicken and putting water on to start boiling the noodles. Matt finished up the chicken sticking the noodles into the boiling water then opening up everything he needed to make his alfredo sauce from scratch.
Matt finally looked at the clock seeing that Kenzie would be at his house any minute and he still needed to put on clothes. Matt cleaned his hands draining the noodles from the water and putting them on plates then the chicken and covering them in sauce. Matt pushed the plates into the oven to stay warm then ran to his room to get dressed. Matt went to his room pulling on a pair of pants and a nice shirt before walking back into his living room and siting down on his couch waiting for Kenzie to get to his house.
