Hey, guys!
So, in an effort to clean up the site a bit and get some more activity happening, we have a new rule that will be going into affect today. Starting now, before you can make a new character, you must first have at least five posts on each of your previous characters' accounts. This means, if you have five characters, each of those five characters must have five posts in the 'post count' before we will approve another character. These threads can be anything in character. Your application already counts as one post, so you really only need four more in character posts in order to make a new character. All of the boards that can help with those four posts can be found under the category 'town.' Instant message threads, character relations threads, advertising, and claims do not count toward the post count.
You can still have as many characters as you would like, but please remember to keep your previous characters active, as well! If you have any questions or concerns regarding our new rule, please just shoot Jennie, Matt, or myself a PM and we would be happy to talk about it. (:
We would also would just like to remind everyone that, while the ICC is fun and a great way to find muse or explore your new character a bit more, it should be used to complement the threading on the site instead of replacing it. We'd love to see more threads pop up around the site and for them to be active. Not all replies and threads need to be 1,000 words. Our word count minimum is 75 words. Take advantage of that and start some new threads up. We'd love to see the activity grow! And, if you are using the ICC, please remember to still log into that account, as well as your others, each day.
And, finally, the last thing I would like to mention is that we will soon be taking some suggestions for a site wide event. That thread should be up this week yet, and we can't wait to hear what ideas you guys have!
I think that pretty much covers the updates. If anyone has any questions, comments, concerns, or suggestions about any of this, please let us know! Thanks!
